Furoshiki

Based on the traditional Japanese wrapping cloth, this adaptation of a furoshiki is made of red-and-white-checkered gingham fabric and embellished with two bands of decorative geometric patterns inspired by sashiko, an embroidery technique which began in the Edo era.

The furoshiki measures 41cm x 41cm and is made of 100% cotton. 

Embroidered and sewn by hand.
